A crescent of spiderweb chrysocolla embraces a luminous blue chalcedony orb. Set in fine and sterling silver; pendant measures approx. 3 × 3.25 cm.
NOTE: the chrysocolla crescent has a small crack along one of her webs that has been stabilized with epoxy (see photos). It blends in well with the other crack-like webs across the surface of the stone, and does not affect the integrity of the piece. Although flawed, she was too enchanting to let her languish in a drawer, so I’m giving her a chance to find a forever home.
